My beloved readers, there are nine holy days which the inner plane Ascended
Masters have asked me to write up special and classes for. These nine holidays
or holy days are Wesak, The Festival of the Christ, The Festival of Humanity,
Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Jewish holidays, Sai Baba's birthday, the nine
other Full Moons and/or Spring and Summer Solstice, as well as the Fall and
Winter Equinoxes. I am purposely sharing with you the format of how to celebrate
the Ascended Master High Holy Days first before I begin sharing the structure
for the actual specific classes.
How to Celebrate Wesak
The ideal and easiest way to celebrate Wesak is to come to the actual Wesak
celebration I host every year in Mt. Shasta, California, for 1,400 to 2,500
light workers and spiritual leaders from around the globe. At the end of this
chapter I have enclosed the advertising and write-ups for the 1998 festival to
give you a sense of the magnitude and profundity of this celebration. I invite
some of the finest spiritual teachers, channels and New Age musicians from
around the world to perform. There are tables set up for some of these leaders
to share and sell their latest works and wares which makes the event almost like
a Whole Life Expo. The whole event is professionally run and I personally
guarantee that if you do come it will be one of the most profound spiritual
experiences of your life. If you are not able to attend, the Masters have given
me a format and structure for how to celebrate Wesak in your home with your
class mates.
Celebrating Wesak in Your Home
Let me first begin by saying that Wesak occurs each year in the full moon of
Taurus. This is usually the full moon in May, however, occasionally it does land
in April. To find out when the actual full moon occurs give me a call and one of
my assistants will get back to you with the information.
To begin your Wesak ceremony at home begin with the opening ceremony I outlined
in Chapter One of this book. The only exception or addition would be that the
Masters suggest that you use the prayer called the "Affirmation of the
Disciple". This prayer will end the opening ceremony. Since Wesak, also known as
the Festival of the Buddha, is the high point of incoming spiritual energies for
the year, the Masters have recommended that there be two meditations instead of
one as will be the case in most holidays and classes. Before this begins
however, there will be the reading of the following write up describing what
Wesak actually is.
The Festival of Wesak
The Festival of Wesak is the most important of the three major Ascended Master
festivals. It is the time of the year at the Taurus moon when humanity receives
the highest level of transmission of Light frequency. The Wesak Festival is the
Festival of the Buddha, commemorating the anniversary of his birth, his
attainment of Buddha-hood and his ascension. The Buddha is the perfect
expression of the Wisdom Aspect of GOD. He is the embodiment of Light and Divine
Purpose.
The festival is the great Eastern festival, and serves to show the solidarity
of East and West. The term Wesak refers to the Wesak Valley in the Himalayas
where every year all the Ascended Masters gather both on the inner and outer
planes to share in a very sacred ceremony. At the precise rising of the full
moon in May, the Manu Allah Gobi, Lord Maitreya the Bodhisattva, and Saint
Germain, the Mahachohan, stand in a triangular formation around a bowl of water
that sits on a crystal. Buddha appears and hovers above this bowl of water and
transmits cosmic energies into the water and through Lord Maitreya to be
disseminated then to the Spiritual Hierarchy and the initiates, disciples and
New Group of World Servers.
At the end of the ceremony, the water is shared by all those in attendance.
Wesak is also the time when all initiations are given to the disciples and
initiates on Earth by Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha and more recently also by Lord
Melchizedek, the Universal Logos.
The Wesak is a time of great renewal and celebration. At Wesak the quality of
energy that is very prevalent is the "Force of Enlightenment". This force of
enlightenment energy emanates from the heart of GOD. It is related to Divine
understanding, and the Love-Wisdom Aspect of GOD. This force on a planetary
level initiates the new world education.
This effects the educational movements, values, literature, publishing,
television, radio, newspaper, magazines, writers, teachers and speakers on the
entire planet. This force of enlightenment that is so prevalent at Wesak is why
the coming together of large groups at this time can be such an awesome
experience. Wesak is the pinnacle each year where the greatest window for mass
enlightenment can occur on a planetary level.
During the ceremony Buddha sounds forth a great mantra and becomes an
"Absorbing Agent" of the first ray force. Buddha then uses the magnetic power of
the second ray to attract this force to himself. He holds it steady and then
redirects it to the Lord Maitreya, who is the "Receiving Agent" of this energy.
This energy is then disseminated to the seven Chohans and their Ashrams for a
seven fold expression and direction into the world.
All the disciples and initiates on Earth are invited to come to the Wesak
Valley, attend this sacred ceremony and join in the festivities. This is also a
time to come and stand before, Lord Maitreya, Lord Buddha and Sanat Kumara to
give your vows of service, and receive special blessings.
If you can't make it to the Wesak Celebration in Mt. Shasta, then I would
recommend gathering with your Light worker friends wherever you are and
traveling in one of the Ascended Master's group merkabahs to the Wesak Valley
right at the time of the full moon. Go before the Masters as I suggested and
then explore the Wesak Valley and/or just enjoy the energies. I might suggest
after returning home that as a group you do the meditation at the end of my
first book, The Complete Ascension Manual. This will really pull in the
energies. You can use other meditations from the Beyond Ascension book, or one
of my ascension tapes to make it easy on yourself, allowing you to just be
receptive.
It is important to note that this is also an actual physical event. At the hour
of the full moon a stillness settles down upon the crowd, and all look toward
the Northeast. Certain ritualistic movements take place under the guidance of
the different Masters and their Ashrams. Various chanted words and esoteric
phrases are also sounded forth at this time.
The expectancy and excitement begins to build as all wait on the inner and
outer plane for Buddha's arrival. A few moments before the exact time of the
full moon, in the far distance, a tiny speck can be seen in the sky. This tiny
speck gradually grows larger and the form of the Buddha seated in a cross-legged
position appears. He is clad in a saffron colored robe, and bathed in Light and
color, with his hands extended in blessing.
While hovering above the bowl of water, crystal and rock, a great mantra is
sounded that is only used once a year at Wesak. This mantra is sounded by the
Lord Maitreya. The entire group of people in the valley do full prostrations.
This invocation sets up an enormous vibration of spiritual current. It marks the
supreme moment of intensive spiritual effort of the entire year and releases a
massive downpouring of cosmic energies from the Cosmic Hierarchy.
Buddha then slowly recedes into the distance from whence he came. The entire
ceremony takes only eight minutes. However, its effects last an entire year.
This is Buddha's annual sacrifice for humanity. This is changing in recent times
because the Buddha has now taken a much more active involvement in Earth's
evolution, after spending a great deal of time in the Great White Brotherhood
Lodge on Sirius.
The Wesak Festival has been regarded by the inner plane Ascended Masters to be
of paramount importance in world affairs. Through the two representatives of
deity upon our planet, the world of spiritual realities and human affairs are
being brought closer and closer together. I do also want to mention here that
though the Wesak Festival usually falls on the full moon in May, on rare
occasions it does fall on the full moon in April, so it is important to check
this out each year. This can occur because the actual timing is the full moon in
Taurus. Wesak is a living event based on current astrological cycles, not past
events that occurred centuries ago, as most religions celebrate.
Many people have dreamed of this event, but have not known of its spiritual
significance and where or why they were doing what they were doing in the dream.
It is at Wesak that a type of channel is opened for humanity that allows
disciples and initiates to contact certain energies that are not normally
available, or as easily accessible. This allows great expansions of
consciousness to take place.
Djwhal Khul has also stated that, "It is the intention of the Buddha and the
Christ, that in each country there shall eventually be someone who will act as
their representative of the time of the two festivals, so that the distribution
of spiritual energy from the first Great Aspect or Ray will be directed from the
Buddha to the Christ and then from the Christ to those initiates in every
country who can be overshadowed and so act as channels for the direct current of
energy." This is referencing the Festival of the Christ and the Wesak Festival.
Djwhal Khul, in the Alice Bailey book, Ponder On This, also has said about the
Wesak, "No cost is too great to pay in order to be of use to the Spiritual
Hierarchy at the time of the full moon of May, The Wesak Festival. No price is
too high in order to gain the spiritual illumination which can be possible,
particularly at that time."
